LEVOSANIDE HEM

COMPOSITION:

Each 100 ml contains:

  • Levamisole hydrochloride 3g.
  • Oxyclosanide 6g.
  • Excipients up to 100 ml.

Dosage:

Cattle, sheep and camels: 2.5 ml of the product per 10 kg of body weight.

INDICATION:

A broad-spectrum anthelmintic suspension used for the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal nematodes (Haemonchus, Astragia, Nematoda, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Osovacustomum, Bonostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia), lungworms, and tapeworms (Monizia) in cattle, sheep and camels, and it also affects instars. adult liverworms.

 

Contraindications:

Allergy to one of the components of the drug.

Hepatic and renal disorders.

 

Side Effects:

Normal doses of levamisole rarely cause side effects. However, when the dose is increased, transient symptoms such as head shaking, increased salivation, sweating, rapid breathing, vomiting, and colic may appear. Oxyclosanide can also cause a slight softening of the stool with increased frequency of defecation and transient decreased appetite.

 

Recommendations:

Adhere to the recommended doses.

It should not be given in conjunction with organophosphorus compounds.
