INDICATION:
Semi-synthetic antibiotic effective against mycoplasmas and against Gram-positive (Streptococcus and Staphylococcus) and Gram-negative (Pasturella) bacteria, used for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases, alveolitis and synovitis caused by mycoplasma in poultry and for the treatment of sinusitis and air sac infection caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma Synovial and Mycoplasma meligridis in turkey.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to tiamulin.
Impaired hepatic or renal function.
Drug interaction:
Do not use in birds that may be treated with products containing monensin, narasin, or salinomycin during or for at least seven days before or after treatment with tiamulin. This may result in poor growth or death.
Cross-resistance may occur with other macrolides or lincosamide.
Side Effects:
Skin rash may reduce water intake.
Withdrawal time:
Meat: 5 days after the last dose
Do not give to chickens producing eggs intended for human consumption.
Other warnings:
Medicinal drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
Storage:
In a cool, dry and dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
