INDICATION:
A strong combination between two antibiotics with a broad spectrum of action. It is used in farm animals to treat infections of the udder, uterus, respiratory system, genitourinary system, and others when infected with seedlings sensitive to the components of the drug. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug was added to reduce fever, relieve pain, and remove various signs of inflammation, and to return the animal’s vitality to normal.
Contraindications:
- Allergy to one of the components of the medication.
- Weak kidney function.
Recommendations:
- Using the drug for a period of time leads to neurotoxicity, ototoxicity, or kidney poisoning
- Rapid-acting diuretics given concomitantly with gentamicin increase the potential for nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
- Gentamicin potentiates the effects of general anesthetics and muscle relaxants, leading to an increased risk of neuromuscular blockade.
- It is not given in combination with cephalosporins, penicillins, or quinolones
Withdrawal time:
- Meat: 30 days.
- Milk: 4 days.
Storage:
In a cool, dry and dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
