HEMOFENICOL

Composition:

Each 1 ml contains:

  • Florfenicol 300 mg.
  • Excipients up to 1 ml.

Dosage:

For the treatment of bovine respiratory disease and hoof rot:

1- The two-injection program: It is given by intramuscular injection to cows (in the neck area) at a dose of 3 ml / 45 kg of body weight, equivalent to (20 mg / kg) followed by another injection 48 hours later with the same dose and method.

2- Single injection program: A single injection under the skin of cows (in the neck area) at a dose of 6 ml / 45 kg of body weight, equivalent to (40 mg / kg).

Indication:

It is used in cattle only for the treatment of pneumonia, associated bacterial respiratory infections, and bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Pasteurella multocida, Pasteurella haemolytica, and Haemophilus sumens, and for the treatment of foot rot in cattle and purulent interlobitis associated with Fusobacterium microform and acteroides melaninogenicus.

Withdrawal time:

For Meat: 28 days.

In a cool, dry and dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
